The Journey - Friday
So, I went away on Friday at 8am.
Where we were going : Oxegen.
Punchestown Racecourse to be exact.
So, everyone standing, waiting on the bus, half asleep, getting ready to get drunk on the bus and having staaaccckkksss of bags (maybe that was just me.)
We go down, the bus journey was eventful in itself:
Memorable moments:
Singing along to:
Calvin Harris - Acceptable in the 80s.
Rhianna - Umbrella (:D)
Cheering at random people in Enniskillen, Kells, Virginia. Great craic.
Taking about 40 'Piss-stops!!" (Which later became known as "Pisssssss-STOPPPPP!!!".).
Christy banging people off their bikes as they drove past with his "Retro-Bat" (Some Tennis bat from the 80s).
We finally arrived at Punchestown at around 5.. or 6, I'm not too sure to be honest, but it was late afternoon, and, it was pissing down.
I had the most bags out of everyone to be honest, so, my trek was near impossible... we clock up around 3mile before we're even close to the campsite...
Ticketmaster scan my ticket (everythings fine).
Then I get 'strip searched'.
Then, I go to "Craggy oul woman who doesn't like the look of me" and I'm greeted with "Your tickets a dud, get out." (I eventually persuaded her that my ticket was real after about half an hour, and now I'm soaked, depressed and I have no bridge to hurl myself off.
So, we begin walking again, another laborious walk, and when we find a spot that's got enough room, we whack up our tents and begin the "move-in".
All the food is stashed in one corner of my tent, sleeping bags rolled out (roll-mats put out) and bags set aside, we begin "Operation Dry-Off and Eat-Up".
The rest of the day (up until about 4 or 5am) was spent having a bit of craic, listening to the Klaxons or Daft Punk and getting general festivities under way.

A follow up post.
So, I haven't posted to the Blog in ages, and I decided that I'd tell you's how I got on with the 360.
Right, my 360 was an original one.. bought on December 05. That meant that it was out of warranty in December 06 also.
So, On the 20th of April, I was settling down to a night of gaming, and I turned on the 360 (No problems.) I put in Guitar Hero, and it came up that there was an update available... I downloaded it, not thinking any different, and got on with playing the game. In the middle of my first song, the game froze, and, being with friends, I laughed and was like "Hah, this hasn't happened before.". I restarted the 360 and I was greeted with the "3 red lights.
I went on google.. and typed in my problem...
THIS is what I was greeted with.

So, it's a common problem, most definately caused by Guitar Hero. I rang Microsoft up explaining my case and what was going on, and she was no help, I ended up finding out that it would cost me £85. When I explained that it wasn't my fault the 360 broke and actually the game developers, she said that it'd cost £85 regardless. She gave me a reference number.. and I hung up. Because I work in a game shop... I mangaed to get one pretty quick and free thanks to the management :P.
